Laura Whitman

Pet HQ offers everything you need to keep your pets happy and healthy. We have a large variety of toys, equipment, foods, specialty items, and services to meet your pet's needs.

Laura and Rich Whitman became the owners of Pet Headquarters in September of 2006. The store has been in existence since 1999. Laura has 20 years of experience in clinical nutrition and is available to answer all your questions on feeding your pets. The Whitman's have many beagles (meet them in the Meet the Pack page) and have participated in a wide variety of activities with them since 2000. Their beagles have been active in competitive Rally and obedience, tracking, agility, freestyle heeling, and flyball. They also participate as a pet therapy team for Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services and are part of a disaster response team. Many of the beagles can be found hard at work greeting customers at Pet HQ!

Laura is the Vice President and Director of Education for Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services. She is an evaluator for Therapy Dogs, Inc. Additionally, Laura is a member of the American Kennel Club, Friends of the Lancaster Humane League, and BREW beagle rescue.
